TUFA U-13 TEAM COMMENCES 2014 ON A WINNING NOTE
25th January, 2014
The technical handlers of the youth teams of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy have expressed optimism about the development of the boys after beginning the New Year on a winning note.
The U-13 side of the Tamale based Academy on Saturday dispatched the U-15 side of Great Eagles, a Tamale colts team 4-0 in their first test match of 2014 and head coach Alhassan Rashid believes their performance will be a testimony to the development of the boys.
The coach and his charges endured a challenging 2013 as they lost two consecutive matches on the trot in December in a mini tournament organized as part of activities to welcome their parent club FC Utrecht from Holland. But after seeing his boys play one of the best games seen so far by the handlers is optimistic of the progress of the youth development of the Academy.
