FACILITY MANAGER OF TAMALE UTRECHT FOOTBALL ACADEMY ,ALHASSAN HARUNA IS LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING ABETTER 2014 AFTER A CHALLENGING YEAR IN 2013.

22th January,2014.

The Facility Manager of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, Alhassan Haruna [DIBABS] says he is looking forward to seeing a better 2014 after a challenging year in 2013 which saw the division one side failing to top the zone 1A of the ongoing Ghana’s second tie competition.

Alhassan Haruna was anticipating a good start to the season for the division one side after bringing on some qualities into the set-up but due to certain challengers the team couldn’t make the mark. With the qualities still in there he is optimistic of a successful 2014.He believes if the players can be committed the course of the team’s qualification to the middle league, it will ensure the transition period is growing in the team.

Speaking to tufaghanafc.com on the issue of the young boys in the Academy, Dibabs emphasized management support to the growth of the boys will comtinue after reports emerged little was done last year to develop the confidence level of the boys. The technical handlers of the U-13 and U-15 of the Academy last week attributed the poor show of the boys in their last tournament to lack of games and organization of tournament outside the region for the boys, but Dibabs debugs those claims insisting management had plans for the boys but due to their educational schedules they couldn’t do

“let me first of all correct this impression, management  had in plan so many programs that was outlined for the U-13, and tufa as a whole is a collective institution with both social and academic activities, so when the academic program is in session we cannot actually jump in and bring in the football session so we are putting plans in order to guarantee all these to help the boys. It is not management that is sidelining the activities of the year. we are therefore trying to meet the coaches, so very soon those programs will be rolled in to put tufa in a dynamic state”

He is calling on supporters to rally behind the team as they prepare for the second round.
