TUFA FAILED TO HALT YASSIN UNBEATEN FORM

Wa base Yassin FC maintained their unbeaten run in the Polytank Division One League when they forced Tamale Utrecht to a 1-1 draw at the Kasalgu academy complex on Wednesday. Yassin now occupies second position on the league lot after the first round of matches ended in the midweek.
The two clubs ended the first half without any goals in a fiercely fought contest which was mainly dominated by the Kasalans. The visitors shocked the home fans a minute into the second half from a long range shot that beat goalkeeper Abdul Wahab Danladi post.
The Kasalans pushed foreyard for the equaliser as the clock tick by and were awarded a penalty from their efforts after the referee spotted a handball in the penbenty area.Adam Ibrahim converted from the spot to put TUFA back in the game.
Several attempts at goal to step in the lead by the Kasalans witnessed poor finishing from Abdulai Alhassan and Adam A. Basit in front of goal.
