FINAL SCOUTING OF YOUNG TALENTS SET FOR 8TH JULY

11th June, 2014.

The management of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, TUFA, has finally settled on the 8th of July as the date for the final phase of scouting of young talents into the Academy.

Over 120 young talents were selected by the technical handlers of the youth wing of TUFA across the three northern regions in Ghana and are expected to parade in front of wise technical men from The Netherlands when they arrive for the final selection to be done.

The program was scheduled for the 7th of June but was postponed due to club commitment by personnel from Netherlands. Highest share holder of TUFA, Mr. Frans Van Seumeren, was expected to lead a delegation of technical men from the Netherlands including coordinator of Utrecht FC in Netherlands, Mr. Sander Hense and chief scout Edwin de Kruyff, but had to schedule the date to supervise VV De Meern.s promotional playoffs.

The CEO of TUFA, Abdulai Alhassan told tufaghanafc.com that” it was great seeing the last team he played for participating in the playoffs. It was a great experience spending time with this club and after some years seeing them play up to this level. I wish them the best of luck and hope to see them play in the top flight one day”

The final scouting program will take place on the 8th to the 11th of July.
