TAMALE UTRECHT FOOTBALL ACADEMY U-15 SIDE TO PLAY TWO TRIAL MATCHES AGAINST BLACK QUEENS IN TAMALE.

Ghana’s national women’s team the Black Queens will play two trial matches with the U-15 side of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy ahead of their African Women’s championship qualifier against Burkina Faso early next month.

The head coach of the Queens, Yussif Bazigy will embark on an eleven day tour of the Northern Regional Capital to acclimatized to the weather as they seek to qualify for the next edition of the African Women’s Championship in South Africa.

The U-15 side of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy have been in sublime form since the beginning of the season and head coach Alhassan Rashid believes it will be a good test for his boys.

“I think this matches will help us a lot, I have been looking forward to playing some high profile games and thank God the Technical director Baba Nuhu Mallam have been able to convince them about the strength of our team. I,m happy because we want the development of the boys and I believe these matches will help a lot, the ladies are bigger and older then my boys but we can demonstrate the strength we have when we play them” Rashid told tufaghanafc.com.
