TUFA DIVISION ONE CAPTAIN URGES TEAM MATES TO FOCUS AHEAD OF RESUMPTION OF LEAGUE

28th January,2014.

Captain of the Division One side of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, Vincent Die has called for focus and urge his colleagues to give their all best as they prepare for the resumption of the league.

Utrecht are third in Zone 1A of Ghana’s second tie competition, four points adrift of leaders RTU and will battle Galaxy FC this weekend at the Tamale Sports Stadium Annex as the league resumes. Though impressed with the team’s position and performance at the end of the first round, the former RTU player is calling on his team-mates to commit themselves to realizing their dream of qualifying TUFA to the promotional playoffs.

Speaking to tufaghanafc.com on Tuesday training session, Vincent pointed out to the fact that they were expected to have topple their opponents in the Zone 1A in the first round but lacked confidence and also stated a few challengers derailed their aspiration of doing so. But now, he is confident the team is ever ready to challenge anyone in the second round as they have corrected their mistakes.
