TUFA DIVISION SIDE RECRUIT FOUR PLAYERS AHEAD OF SECOND ROUND
22th January,2014.
The Technical Handlers of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy Division One side have made additions to the squad ahead of the resumption of the second round of Ghana’s second tie competition, the Division One league until the end of the season.
Former RTU midfielder Akwasi Suale,Mohammed Song and Fuseini Agya from Universal Stars of Techiman and highly rated Bazooka striker Razack Patricks have all joined the Tamale based side as they search for a place in the middle league.
Tamale Utrecht will open their accounts with an away trip to the Tamale Sports Stadium Annex to face Galaxy on the 1st week of the resumption of the league, and coach Mumuni Gamel believes the additions will play a major role in the club’s quest to qualify to the middle league.
Fuseini Agya and Mohammed Song played under coach Gamel at Universal Stars last season and are expected to bring experience and competition into the set-up, while Razack Patricts will be a preferred choice upfront after scoring two goals against his current club when they meet in WA.
Akwasi Suale who is making a return into the game after almost four years out with a serious injury will have to work his way into the team because of the set-back. Meanwhile, coach Gamel has outline a couple of friendly matches to test the team’s readiness ahead of the second round and will begin on Thursday against Tamale All Stars at the Academy Complex.
