ALHASSAN HABIB PREDICTS DIFFICULT SECOND ROUND OF DIVISION ONE LEAGUE
14th January,2014.
The team manager of Division One side Tamale Utrecht Football Academy Alhassan Habib believes the second round of the division one league will decide the eventual winners of Zone 1A as all teams awaits the commencement of the second round.
TUFA division one side went into the break third on the Zone 1A log after three wins out of the seven games played and Habib is predicting a tough second round. Utrecht is looking forward to improving their position and eventually qualify for the middle league but the former Real Tamale United captain says players must grand out the results themselves in order to make the mark.
“I think we have the toughest round in the competition this time, because looking at the performances of the teams and their standings on the table tells you how the second round will look like’’ Habib told tufaghanafc.com .
On his team’s chances Habib says he is optimistic of the chances of TUFA. He stated that the onuses lye on the players because the coach has taken them through some vigorous exercises and it is their responsibility to deliver.
“the players will have themselves to blame if they fail to qualify because you can see how serious the coach is and the training he is taking them through. How many teams have these support from their technical team, but Gamel wants the results and that is why he is taking them through these exercises. So if the players fail they should blame themselves.
TUFA resumes the second round with an away game against Galaxy FC, a side they defeated 2-0 in the first round and Habib believe a good results in that match will motivate the players.
