FC UTRECHT U-17 SIDE ENDS THEIR VISIT TO TUFA WITH IMPRESSIVE WIN IN FINAL GAME

FC Utrecht U-17 side ended their visit to Tamale Utrecht Football Academy on a higher note after coasting to a4-3 hard fought victory over their partners at the Tamale sports stadium on Monday morning.Two early goals from Nick and Moroccan born karim Loukili had put FC Utrecht in acommanding lead and a third in the second half seemed to have condemned TUFA to their second defeat  of the tournament, but there was more to look for as Mohammed Rashid responded with twoquick goals in the space of  five minutes.

A tactical change by Cloudio Braga, coach of FC Utrecht turn things for the away team as one of the substitude Emeri Bal converted a cross from Anthorny Berenstein and Tijn Wicherink sealed the win later on with a cool finish to regain their two goal lead. Moahammed Rashid was on hand again to convert a penalty for TUFA but as not enough.

Tijn Wicherink was adjudged the best player of the tournament while Mohammed Rashid of TUFA won the goal king after scoring three goals against FC Utrecht in the final match.The Northern regional U-17 Champions went home with gold medals after finishing the tournament ahead of FC U trecht on goal difference.All the participating teams took away a trophy each and medals in respect of their positions at the end of the competition.
