Abdulai Alhassan [Abu] set his sights on putting together a winning run after Tamale Utrecht Football Academy Division One side got their promotional campaign back on track with victory against Galaxy FC at the Academy Complex.

The former FC Utrecht  striker was involved in both goals as TUFA coasted to a 2-0 Division one League triumph at their own backyard to ease the pressure on boss Mumuni Gamel following their  defeats against Bazooka last   Wednesday.

Two second half goals from leading striker Nuhu Salifu in the 77th and 90tyh minutes respectively sealed the points, yet the CEO of TUFA who is still an active player of the side knows Tamale Utrecht now need to be more consistent if they are to close the gap at the sunnit of the league tabble.

Tamale Utrecht had picked up just three points from their previous two league matches but the style with which they saw off Galaxy FC hinted at a return of form and confidence.

The kASALGU lads are still a point behind top-flight leaders RTU who beat Bazooka 4-0 at the Tamale sport stadium, but they made sure they did not lose a second Division one  League game in succession.

Abdulai Alhassan told tufaghanafc.com"I think it was a good all-round team performance and everyone got together and played some good football.

"They were two good finishes and that's where I want to be, playing up top, but I'm just happy to play my part.

"Now we've set the platform and we really want to build on it."
