TAMALE UTRECHT CONFIRMS SHILLA ALHASSAN FOR TOP JOB
07 March, 2013
Coach Shilla Alhassan and Muniru Aziz
Tamale Utrecht Football Academy will begin the second round of the second tier league with Shilla Alhassan taking over from Coach Osman Rashid as head coach.
The decision was announced today by the technical director after management had considered the former Kotoko player for the top post.
‘The measures were taken after management had noted that Shilla had gone through the first round understudying coach Rashid successfully and can therefore steer the affairs as we go into the second round’ Technical director Jawhari Baba-Duah said.
Tufaghanafc.com can also reveal that longest serving Coach at the senior side, Muniru Aziz will continue as assistant to Coach Shilla Alhassan.
Meanwhile Coach Osman Rashid will have more time to concentrate on the U-13 where he doubled as head coach with the division one in the last seven months. He will be assisted by Coach Abdulai Mohammed.
And in the weekend, the Young Kasalans continue their friendly matches with a game at the Kasalgu complex when they host Tiyumba FC on Sunday, 3pm.
