CLUBS RACE TO THE TOP AS DIVISION ONE ENDS FIRST ROUND

The first round of the polytank Division One League ends on Wednesday as the race for the top spot intensifies amongst three clubs Guan United, Yeji Juventus and sensational club Yaasin FC.
Yaasin leapfrogged to the top of the zone 1A with 9 points after thrashing Galaxy FC 5-2 on Saturday at the Wa park. The newly promoted side are yet to lose a game in the league as they travel to Tamale as guest of Tamale Utrecht on Wednesday.
Meanwhile Bazooka will end the first round on 8 points as they rest for the midweek pairings. Below is the standing of the Zone 1A after the week 5 fixtures.
