TAMALE UTRECHT MESSI TO MISS LOCAL DERBY
31 January, 2013
Young and talented midfielder, Baba Mubarak will miss Tamale Utrecht fourth week fixture in the Division One League against local rival Guan United at the Kasalgu Academy complex as he leaves Tamale for the Black Starlets camp.
The youngster gained recognition from the National Under-17 handlers when he turned on a show and helped the Kasalans beat Bazooka FC 1-0 to progress to the 1/64 stage of the MTN FA Cup competition.
“It’s a great honour to be invited by the national team to play for the Black Starlets and it has always been my dream to play at that level and win.” The 15 year old player said.
Mubarak is expected to join his colleagues at the Prampram soccer centre of excellence on Sunday February 3, 2013.
Tamale Utrecht are seeking to continue their fine form they exhibited in Yeji in their first home match of the division one league against Guan United in the Kasalgu Academy Complex on Sunday.
