TUFA MANAGEMENT SET FRIENDLY DERBY WITH GALAXY FC

25 December, 2012

The tension and excitement that characterise matches between Tamale Utrecht Football Academy and Galaxy FC as far as the division two league was concerned in 2011, could be re-ignited as the two sides are yet, meeting again in the division one league following the qualification of Galaxy FC to the division one league this year.

However, the nasty scenes and rancor to the build up and during such encounters could be avoided this year as the management and technical teams of the two clubs are about to walk together in the corridors of peace, in a friendly match scheduled between the two management bodies at the Kasalgu Academy complex on Saturday.

The encounter will see top management and technical team members of the two sides exhibit their skills on the field of play and preach the need to promote soccer in the region.

TUFA technical director Arc. Jawhari Baba–Duah will captain his side to quell the threat of the Alhaji Mohammed Amin Abeo side that will fall at all cost at the Kasalgu Complex where the TUFA management are yet to lose a match.

The TUFA management team holds an enviable record after their 1-1 draw with the Media XI early this year and is expected to feature Coach Shilla Alhassan, Coach Muniru Aziz, Hafiz Abbey, Haruna Alhassan and Mashud Whereabouts in the match.

Yussif Van Der Saa, Mohammed Ramzy, Coach Aziz and Abdul Rauf are some of the hopefuls of Galaxy FC in the weekend game.
