The Chief Executive Officer of Real Tamale United Mr. Abu Nurudeen has branded as false, the claims of some supporters that he had resigned from his position as CEO of Real Tamale United.

Speaking to tufaghanafc.com, the embattled CEO, who was recently banned for 4 months by the Ghana Football Association for leading attacks on match officials at the Tamale stadium, insisted he was still at post.

He however conceded that, the club was being managed under difficult conditions since their return to the top flight league after a year in relegation.

‘As CEO I do not enjoy the needed the support from the board to carry out my responsibilities and it is alarming as we keep accruing unpaid salaries and has yet to pay signing-on fees of players’ He said. ‘However, I have set out my conditions to the board and failure for them to make resources available for the club to pay for the player’s outstanding wages, I will advice myself’. He concluded.

Meanwhile Coach Mohammed Gargo has also turned down an invitation to rejoin the team after his 4 match ban had elapsed. The former RTU player demanded for a discussion over his contract and payments of his emoluments before accepting a takeover of his previous job as head coach of the club.

Real Tamale United are lying bottom of the 16 club Glo premier league after failing to nod a win in 10 matches played so far. They are worrying signals of a return to the lower league if they failed to rediscover their form.
