3 December, 2012

Striker Jafaru Abdul Somed scored for the first time for Tura Magic to earn an important win for Tura Magic that defeated Eleven Arrows in the Namibian league 2-1 to stay just above the bottom of the 12 club league.

The Tamale Utrecht on-loan player who was lethal in the team’s pre-season friendly matches unfortunately struggled to gain playing time after 8 matches in the Namibian premier league with his compatriot Alhassan Kalusha.

Jafaru scored Tura second goal in 30th minute after Junias Theophilus put the home side ahead at the Sam Njouma Stadium before Nigerian striker Edom Dominic pulled a goal back for Arrows to end the first half.

It was stalemate in the second half as both sides failed to add a goal to the score in the game that midfielder Alhassan Kalusha was an unused substitute.

The victory saw Tura Magic drawing level with Mighty Gunners on seven points, while Rundu Chiefs remain bottom on one point.
