COACH GARGO ASK TO STEP ASIDE
16 November, 2012
Head Coach of Real Tamale United Mohammed Gargo, was temporarily asked to vacate his post with the club, following his dismissal from the technical bench in their week 5 premier league match against Accra Hearts of Oak in Accra. Coach Gargo was red carded in the said match for indecent and will miss the technical bench of the pride of the north in their next four matches.
The club’s management has therefore met with the former black stars player and instructed him to stay away from the training grounds and all club activities until his suspension is over with the Ghana Football Association. His assistant Alhassan Dawou will now assume full responsibilities in overturning the fortune of the club.
Meanwhile some supporter were not happy with the decision and are demanding a meeting with the management to reverse the decision since his suspension by the GFA does not bar him from carrying out his duties at the training grounds. ‘we want to belief that management is using this development as excuse to sack the coach and we will resist any attempt to make this happen’ a supporter told tufaghanafc.com
