TUFA BEGINS 5-DAY IDIL ADHA BREAK

Subsequent to the celebration of one of the most important days in the Islamic calendar, the Idil Adha, Tamale Utrecht Football Academy has announced a 5 day break to allow the players and staff to join the rest of the world to mark the day scheduled for Friday.

The young team will leave for their various homes on Wednesday to reunite with their families for the festival of sacrifice whilst the senior side was today vacated at the Tamasco field and is expected to resume training on Monday.

Technical Director Jawhari Baba-Duah congratulated the players for their cooperation with the technical team so far in the pre-season but noted that training will be intensified on resumption on Monday to finalize preparations in the pre-season ahead of the division one league and the FA Cup.

Meanwhile 4 players of the senior side, Vincent Deyi, Mohammed Alhassan, Wadudu Fuseini and Yussif Abdul Basit were today handed punishments on disciplinary grounds.

The four players have been absent from training and are expected to lose parts of their wages for the misconducts.
