Coach Abdulai Abdul Aziz has withdrawn his services as head coach of newly promoted division one club, Galaxy FC. His decision to discontinue his services as coach of the Northern Regional Division Two champions was announced at a meeting with management of the club, after their final match with Dynamos FC where they won 3-2 on penalties.

Speaking to tufaghanafc.com, the president of the club, Alhaji Mohammed Amin Abeo expressed disgust following the coach’s decision but remained optimistic that the soft spoken coach would be cajoled back to his former position.

‘I have instituted a two man committee to speak to the coach and bring up his concerns for us to make up to him to return to post. ‘He said. ’His absence has delayed the resumption of our preparations towards the Division One League and the FA Cup competition.’

Meanwhile the club is also busy at the transfer market to augment the team for the tougher division one league. ‘So far we have considered former RTU goalie, Mohammed Opash and Tamale Utrecht Sulemana Firdaus’. ‘Former RTU attacking pair of Gafaru Abdulai and Fuseini Ebo is also being considered to strengthen the club.’ Alhaji said.
