RTU ENGAGES TUFA IN READINESS FOR PREMIERSHIP KICK-OFF
02 October, 2012
Real Tamale United will play Tamale Utrecht Football Academy in a friendly on Wednesday at the Tamale sports stadium annex ahead of their premiership opening game on Sunday.
The pride of the north are opening their premier league campaign at home to AshantiGold after missing the Ghanaian elite league last season and are hoping to present a formidable team on Sunday against the miners at the Tamale Sports stadium.
Head coach Mohammed Gargo has played just two matches after reassembling with his team following the team’s qualification from division one middle league, and needed to play the tactically composed TUFA side before making his final team for the Sunday game.
The two sides are meeting in the friendly for the first time this season after RTU was better last season where they recorded two victories against the Kasalans in the division one league.
Tamale Utrecht is playing their 4th match in the pre-season preparations for the 2012/2013 division one league and will count tomorrow’s match important to their build up exercise.
