ALLSTARS RECORDS HIGH INDISCIPLINARY CONDUCT IN DIVISION TWO

13 July, 2012

Tamale Allstars has so far gained highest entries in the bad books of officiating officials in the on-going Northern region division two league.

The former division one side that is currently struggling in the 2012 league recorded more than 6 red cards in 8 matches played so far in the league.

In yet a similar fashion the club picked two red cards and several yellow cards in their 1-1 home draw against Tamale FC played on Thursday at the Zogbeli Park.

Tamale FC was denied picking up maximum point in the game after missing an opportunity to score in a spot kick late in the game but however played a fascinating game to keep their host frustrated for most part of the game.

Allstars that led in the game had their jubilation curtailed when the young Tamale FC team equalized moments before the first half break.

President of Tamale Allstars Mr Karim Star boy, challenged the referees performance after he had approached the officials with his complains when he besieged the officials after the match.

Meanwhile Dynamos FC shrugged off an initial scare from their guest Dunkurugu FC at Ghanasco when they went down by an early goal, to win 2-1 at the end of regulation time. Dynamos FC thus maintain their lead on the Zone 1A group 1 table.
