Tamale ready for stars
The Chief executive Officer of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy (TUFA) ,Mr. Abu Imoro has noted that Tamale is ready to host the crème de la crème in football when the weekend flame of ‘One Ghana, Goals for Peace’ project is lighted.
Speaking to tufaghanafc.com, the TUFA CEO who is collaborating with Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) and LUKDERM Consult with support coming from the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) will offer soccer fans in the region the opportunity to socialize with soccer greats such as Marcel Desaily, Stephen Appiah, John Mensah, Asmaoah Gyan and Emmanuel Adebayor.
Past soccer heroes that made the region and Ghana proud will be remembered on the day as fans recollect memories of Mohammed Choo, Tanko Jetumah, Anana Kobo, Abukari Damba among others.
‘We are hosting a big event in Tamale and all logistics for a memorable stay of the stars in Tamale have been arranged’ Mr. Abu Imoro said.
‘The objective of the programme is not just about their presence in Tamale but its desired impact of achieving and sustaining peace in Tamale’. He noted.
Meanwhile gates for the peace event will be opened at 10:30 am and will cost GHC 5.00 for the VIP stand GHC 2.00 for the popular stand.
