TUFA WIN FIVE GOAL THRILLER

The division one side of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy made a strong come back after a disappointing performance in yesterday 2-1 win against Victory stars, when they mauled Dynamos FC 4-1 today at the Kasalgu complex.
The host took early control of the game and had their efforts accomplished when Jafaru A. Somed strike slipped through the goalkeeper’s hands to put his side in the lead.
Jafaru A. Somed grabbed the second goal after finishing a light cross from Yakubu Alidu who made an excellent run down the left and delivered a cross for Jafaru to connect home.
The Kasalans made several attempts at goal after a good display in midfield, notable of the team. Alhassan Kalusha and Tuarik Musah provided the team ammunition in midfield whilst Jafaru A. Somed and Saeed Muttalib posed problems to the visitors in defence but could not hit the back of the net to end the first half 2-0 up.
Captain Mohammed Awal Issah capped an excellent day in the right back with a long shot outside the penalty area to beat the goalkeeper at the far post for the third goal moments after recess.
The last year’s finalist in the division two league and current leaders in the zone 1A of the division two league failed to compete with their host and conceded the fourth goal when defender Wadudu Fusieni connected a corner kick with his head into the roof of the net. The tall and strong defender had an excellent game in central defence with his defensive pair Alhassan Mohammed.
The visitors pulled back a consolation deep into the second half when they were gifted from a defensive blunder.
