NO EARLY RETURN FOR DIVISION ONE LEAGUE
13 June, 2012
An indefinite suspension that was slapped on the division one league three weeks ago has no sight of an early return to wrap up the league that is just two matches away to completion.
This was revealed today by the chairman of the division one league Lawyer Ntow Fiako who spoke tufaghanafc.com.
The division one chairman indicated his frustration over the undue delay of the league that was created by the huge number of protest cases from the three zones.
‘Though all the cases have been dealt with and the decisions served the respective clubs however, they have all come back to appeal to the disciplinary committee rulings against them and each paying GHC 1,000.00 to be heard.’ Lawyer ntow said.
‘We could take yet another time to complete all the appeal cases before the league is resumed.’ he concluded.
Meanwhile Tamale Utrecht continues preparations for the final matches and has lined up two friendly matches on Thursday and Friday in readiness for their all important match against Upper East United the will free them from expulsion in the league.
