Iddi Yakeen - to play on Saturday
This weekend promises to be busy for Tamale Utrecht Football Academy as the U-13 and the division one sides will be engaged in friendly matches.
The division one side that is currently preparing for the last two matches in the division one league will play division two side Liberty Babies at the Zogbeli Park on Friday.
The division one side will play a second friendly match in just 24 hours when they respond to an invitation by professionals at the Zogbeli Park.
The Saturday meeting will be the third for the two sides that had shared wins in previous encounters by 3-0 apiece.
The professionals side that includes the Wakaso Brothers (Spain and Portugal), Iddi Yakeen (Belgium), Razak Nuhu (England), Mohammed Fataw Owen and Micheal Anaba both of victorious Kumasi Asante Kotoko will test the resilience of a youthful Tamale Utrecht side that will be led in attack by its top scorer Jafaru A. Somed and supported at the back by its defensive anchor Mohammed Alhassan. The team is also expected to play left back and speedster Adam Ibrahim, Alhassan Kalusha and Iddrisu Osman in Midfield.
Meanwhile TUFA under 13 will be home at the complex for Bagabaga FC U-13 on Sunday. The match that comes off at 8 am will be the U-13 first test match and promises to sell out a good game on the day.
