RFA OPENS SECOND WINDOW IN PLAYER REGISTRATION

The Regional Football Association has opened its second window for registration of players by clubs in the regional division two league.

Speaking to tufaghanafc.com, the division two committee chairman Mr Mohammed Baako Alhassan indicated that the last matches for the first round will end on Wednesday June 6, and the association has fixed Saturday June 16 to begin the second round fixtures.

Mr. Alhassan commended fans of various clubs for recording minimal disturbances at the centres and reiterated the need for fans to conduct themselves properly when the second round begins.

The competition is expected to produce a regional champion to represent the region in the national division one league and three other clubs to play in next season MTN FA competition.

The league favourite Galaxy FC is unbeaten after 5 matches and sit on the Zone 1A (group 1) Summit whilst Ultimate FC is strongly pursuing the heels of Galaxy for the regional trophy with a comfortable lead in the Zone 1A (group 2).

Other clubs expected to threaten title ambitions of Galaxy FC includes, Tamale Allstars, Dynamos FC and Mole Nationale.
