RTU mauled Liberty Babies 5-1 in a friendly

Relegation threatened club, Real Tamale United (RTU) today played a spirited game to beat division two side Liberty Babies 5-0 in a friendly match at the Tamale stadium annex.
The pride of the north registered the first goal through Micheal Dapaah with Shilla Alhassan scoring the second goal to end first half proceedings.
RTU gained total dominance over the game in the second half and goals from Ekow Ghansa, Owusu Bempah and Torfiq Alolo sealed victory for RTU.
The Coach of RTU, Gargo Mohammed was very happy with the score line and was hopeful of favorable results against league leaders Berekum Chelsea in Berekum when the premier league resumes on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
