SPORTS MINISTER, OTHERS SET TO OPEN TUFA

The Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Clement Kofi Humado (MP) will be the man to open the first ever soccer academy in northern Ghana alongside other high profile personalities at Kasalgu a surburb of Tamale.

Th grand and mammoth event will witness the participation of Ghana Football Association President Kwasi Nyantakyi and the Dutch Ambassador to Ghana Mr. Gerard Duijfjes on Monday May 28, 2012.

The chief of Kasalgu shall join hands with the sports minister and co-owner from Holland Mr. Frans to cut the tape for the historic opening of the academy that begins with 25 players not older than 13 years.

A large business delegation from Holland shall also be in attendance and shall hold business discussion on investment opportunities in the region later on the programme, preceded by a football match between Tamale Utrecht division one side and Nana Asare II.

TUFA under 14 boys will play Wienco academy in a game expected to climax the event and usher in a new day of soccer hub in Ghana.
