Action in Midfield in Bazooka match
Two struggling clubs in the zone 1A of the division one league Tamale Utrecht Football Club and Nandom Black Bulls both recorded wins over the weekend to boost their mission for survival in the Ghanaian second elite division.
TUFC made a significant step in the battle against relegation when they stopped a tactical discipline Bazooka side 2-1 on Sunday in Tamale.
Nandom Black Bulls were also 1-0 winners over league leaders RTU in Nandom Ko, a suburb of Nandom on Sunday.
RTU striker Yussif Aziz got sent off in the march for violent play worsening the poor run of form of RTU in their matches outside Tamale after they failed to pick a point against struggling Nandom Black Bulls.
They are however impressive in their local derbies against TUFC and Guan United that earned them a pole position in the league.
Tufaghanafc.com Team of the week Yeji Juventus annihilated Upper East United 4-0 in Yeji and thus jumped to second on the league standings.
Guan United however rested for the week pairings and return to action on Saturday against Tamale Utrecht FC for the last derby encounter in Tamale.
