The Management of Tamale Utrecht Football Club (TUFC) has extended a goodwill message to Division One play-off campaigners, Guan United FC in Tamale today.

In a letter signed by the Deputy CEO of TUFC, Arc. Jawhari Baba-Duah and copied to www.tufaghanafc.com, the club commended Guan United for emerging as champions of the 2010 / 2011 Zone 1A of the Division One league and that need a final push to qualify to the lucrative elite division of Ghana football.

“We have no doubt that the morale in your camp will keep your club focus in your quest to make a significant achievement in your history as a club. This achievement would also be benefited largely by the region that can boast of only one club in the 16-club premier league,” read the letter.

“We are very sure that you will be able to make that final effort and qualify to the premier league, Insha-Allah.One again our club is wishing you well” the letter concluded.

Guan United is expected to leave for Accra today to continue preparation for the Division One play-off scheduled to kick off on Friday May, 13, 2011 at the Tema Park.
