FREE GATES IN TUFC FIRST DIVISION ONE MATCH
26 January, 2012
Tamale Utrecht FC will not charge supporters to pay and watch its first home match in the division one league about to kick off on Sunday.
A club statement released today noted that, the decision to open the gates free for supporters is to record massive attendance at the stands to offer unflinching support for the club in its maiden division one league appearance.
The club is also pleased to be the only club playing home in the opening day matches of the division one league. It was also decided on that basis to open the free gates to attract as many football fans as possible that have missed live matches at the stadium ever since Real Tamale United was bundled out of the premier league.
The club will however like to caution supporters to remain at the stands during the match. It stressed that supporters will not be entertained at the inner perimeter.
Tamale Utrecht will take on Yeji Juventus in opening match of the Zone 1 A division one league at 3pm kick off time on Sunday.
