TUFC ENGAGES GANGDU STARS IN A FRIENDLY
24 January, 2012
With just about 5 days to begin the Polytank Division One league campaign, Tamale Utrecht FC will be playing its last friendly match tomorrow ahead of the opening day fixture against Yeji Juventus at the Tamale stadium.
TUFC will take on a division two side Gangdu Stars at the Tamale stadium at 3pm. The match is to enable TUFC familiarise with the facilities at the stadium and offer the technical handlers an opportunity to shape up the team ahead of the big clash on Sunday.
The return of Adam A. Basit in the TUFC squad was further delayed after the striker made little improvement in his injury. However Tahir Moomin Benzema was declared fit and took part in today’s training.
