LIBERTY 1 - 1 TAMALE FC
15 January, 2012
Tamale FC on Saturday shared spoils with Liberty Babies in a friendly at the Zogbeli Park.
Liberty FC went in front of the game when Saani Mohammed scored after the break but got the goal cancelled later by youngster and talented striker Attaiya.
The match was coach Abdallah first assignment for the rebranded Tamale FC that originally was called Spartans FC after the club was bought by Mr. Ibrahim Gagbine a London based business man.
35 players were recently selected in a recruitment exercise to kick start preparations for Tamale FC in the upcoming division two league. However Coach Abdallah does not rule out possibilities of sizing down the number that is mainly dominated by players who had just graduated from the colts clubs.
