TUFC,RTU RESUME TRAINING AHEAD OF FA CUP CLASHES

Tamale Utrecht football club resumed training today after a week break to continue preparations for the Division One league and the MTN FA Cup competition.

All registered players reported to training today and were taken through warm-up sessions by the Head coach Muazz Choo and his assistant Muniru Aziz.

The players later convened to a meeting with the technical team after the warm-up session and were addressed by the technical team on expectations for the New Year.

The Head Coach Mu-azz Choo charge the players to remain discipline and committed to the cause of the club saying that was the only way the club could ride to success.

The Technical Director Jawhari Baba-Duah gave a brief background of the TUFC next opponents, Danbort FC in the MTN FA cup competition noting that the date for the match was yet to be announced by the FA.

He further mentioned that fixtures for the division one league scheduled to start on January 21, 2012 are yet to be released.

Meanwhile fellow division one campaigners Real Tamale United also reported to training today after the Christmas festivities. However a check at the club’s training ground revealed that not all the players reported for today’s training session.

Head coach Mohammed Gargo who took part in a small sided game situation hopes to record a full team tomorrow at training to continue his preparations for the division one league and the MTN FA Cup competition.

RTU shall be home to Techiman Unity FC in the FA cup competition.
