TUFA TAKES U-12 SCOUTING EXERSICE TO THE YENDI DISTRICT

Tamale Utrecht Football Academy (TUFA) will be part of a football competition in the Yendi district to scout for players not older than 12 years old.
The 4-day event that would be hosted by Bimbilla is starting on Christmas day and scheduled to end on December 29, 2011 with a total of 8 clubs taking part in the competition drawn into two groups.

Soccer Heroes Bintu Stars
Soccer Boys Authority FC
Bandang Stars King Faisal
Young Strikers Soccer Stars
Soccer Heroes shall engage Soccer Boys in the opening match of the competition.
TUFA Technical Director Jawhari Baba-Duah, indicated that the competition would offer the TUFA scouting team the opportunity assess and select players in the age category around the Yendi area and was hopeful for a successful event.
‘The Academy is also monitoring the Tamale colts league that is currently underway and it will take a series of such competitions to enable us have a broader spectrum of players that we are selecting into the academy’ Technical Director emphasised.
