NANA ASARE RENEW UTRECHT CONTRACT
4th December, 2011
Tamale Utrecht Football Academy ambassador Nana Akwasi Asare has renewed his contract with FC Utrecht until 2013. The club has exercised the options in the players' contract to extend his stay at Utrecht.
Nana Asare joined Utrecht in mid-2009 from Belgium side KV Mechelen. The 25-year-old midfielder has since grown into an important and regular player. “Nana is pleased with the responsibility that comes with the captain's armband and he's enthusiastic about where we want to go with the club,” said Technical Director, Foeke Booy.
