PLAYER REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR DIVISION ONE EXTENDED

Today’s deadline for the registration of players by clubs to participate in the 2011/2012 Division One league has been extended by 10 more days. The Division One League Board has announced Thursday, November 24, 2011 as the new date for clubs to submit completed application forms for their players.

The extension was considered following the failure of clubs to submit their registration forms at the GFA secretariat due to the cumbersome process of the new computer registration that includes a strenuous medical examination of each player.

In view of the extension, the kick off date has been pushed further and sources at FA have revealed to tufaghanafc.com of a December 17 kick off date.

Meanwhile Tamale Utrecht Football Club were among the few clubs that submitted completed registration forms of players to meet the earlier deadline today.

TUFC have submitted a total of 26 players for registration at the GFA for the 2011 / 2012 division one league.
