Ahmed Toure

Ivorian import Ahmed Toure scored a double to help Asante Kotoko overpower Bechem United 3-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday. Nathaniel Asamoah opened the scoring after 37 minutes for Bechem to draw level through former Black Stars striker Peter Ofori Quaye on 44 minutes when he finished off a nice pass from Eric Fordjour.
Bechem took the lead after the hour mark through Akwasi Adu. Kotoko fought back and equalized through Ahmed Toure on 71 minutes from a resultant corner-kick.
The tempo of the game was at a diminuendo before Toure struck again with a quarter of an hour left on the clock to give Kotoko all three points.
