Andre Ayew scored twice but missed a penalty as Marseille beat Ajaccio 2-0in only their second win of a difficult Ligue 1 season.Ayew was twice denied by keeper Guillermo Ochoa after Johan Cavalli's handball gave Marseille a 20th-minute spot-kick, but he made amends on the half hour after being set up by brother Jordan, and added a second shortly after half-time to make the game safe.

In the Belgium Jupiler League, Iddi Yakin was not part of the KV Mechelen team that drew 2-2 away to Beerschot AC.

KV Mechelen needs to win their next away match to move away from the bottom ranks in a mid-week action away to 5th place FC Mons.

Rahim Ayew was not also part of the Jupiler league action for Lierse that lost 2-0 to Sint-Truiden.Rahim is still recovering from a knee injury and hope to return to action in 2 weeks.
