PERFORMANCE OF PLAYERS ABROAD

The two sons of legend Abedi Ayew Pele both played a part in Marseille's goalless drawn game away to Toulouse at the Stade Municipal on Saturday. Marseille recorded their sixth draw of the campaign in just 10 matches. Andre Ayew was substituted in the 83rd minute for Andre-Pierre Gignac whilst Jordan Ayew came off the bench for Loic Remy in the 61 minute.

 

 

In the Spanish La Liga, Villareal earned an important point away to Getafe and got Mubarak Wakaso introduced in the game for Marcos Senna in the 45th minute.

 

 

 

 

Iddi Abdul Yakin side KV Mechelen lost their home match 2-1 to Cercle Brugge KSV on Saturday in the Belgian Jupiler league.Yakin played the entire duration of the game..

Meanwhile Rahim Ayew Lierse SK won 2-1 away to Zulte-Warengem also in the Belgian Jupiler League. Rahim has resumed training after an injury and would be available for the next weekend matches.

 

 

In the Armenia league, Shilla Illiasu played 90 minutes for FC Impuls in their 2-2 away draw to FC Pyunik.

Whilst most players from Northern Ghana featured in this weekend matches for their respective clubs, youngster Abdul Majeed Waris of Hacken BK was ruled out for the rest of the Swedish season due to a knee injury.

The 19 year old suffered the injury at Hacken FC’s training last month and cannot recover for the last two matches. 

Waris has scored four goals in 16 appearances for Hacken this season.
