SUMAILA ATIA SETTLES WITH MEDEAMA SC

Former RTU midfielder Sumaila Atia has confirmed to tufaghanafc.com of his ambition to win his first silverware in the premiership this season with Meadeama sporting club.
Atia Sumaila who hailed from Bolgatanga, the Upper East regional capital joined RTU in the 2003/2004 season and played for the pride of the north until RTU was relegated from the elite division in the 2010/2011 season. The midfield powerhouse then joined Medeama SC for the 2011/2012 season.
The strongly built player has since made his way into the first team of Meadeam SC after convincing the technical team in the just ended Glo G-8 soccer competition where they lost the final match to Berekum Chelsea by a lone goal.
Medeama is currently on break and the player is expected to rejoin his colleagues in camp on Monday ahead of the start of the premier league.
