TUFA ambassador Nana Akwasi Asare maintains his scoring form for FC Utrecht in the Dutch Eridivisie when he smashed home a 57th minute left footed volley from close range to draw 2-2 at home with Heracles Almero on Sunday.
Alexander Gerndt opened the scoring for the hosts, from Asare pass in the 19th minute before Kwame Quansah's equaliser. The visitors then went ahead six minutes later when Plet stroked a shot into the middle of the goal to give Heracles a deserved lead before Asare’s equaliser that earned them a point on home soil.
In the Swedish Allsvenskanliga Abdul Majeed Waris got his name on the score sheet in the 76th minute for BK Hacken when they beat Elfsborg 2-0 to move to 4th on the league standings whilst in the Belgium Jupiler, Iddi Yakin’s goal in the 34th minute was not enough to save KV Mechelen from losing 5-1 away to RAEC Bergen Mons on Saturday.
