RETURNEES BOOST TUFC SQUAD AHEAD OF THE SECOND ROUND OF THE LEAGUE

Head coach of Tamale Utrecht Football Club Mua-zu Choo is expecting to have the full complement of his team before the second round of the league begins next Wednesday. The team have been boosted following the return of Abdul Basit Yussif, Zakaria Fuseini and Alidu Mohammed Awal. The trio were part of the team that represented Northern Region in the annual inter regional’s schools and colleges sports competition held in Tamale earlier this month. Mohammed Alhassan will also join the squad on Friday after recovering from malaria sickness.Mean while, midfielder Abdul Somed Jafaru has fully recovered from an arm injury and now ready for action next week. Abdul Jafaru sat out in four (4) of TUFC's friendly matches but has now returned to training. If Abdul Jafaru stays fit, he should be available for TUFC's opening second round fixture next weekends. The fixtures for the second round of matches will be released on Thursday afternoon by the Regional Football Association
